Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, met, at his Ain-el-Tineh residence on Tuesday, with a delegation of the Danish churches' council and the Islamic council, as well as members of the Arab-Danish Initiative for Dialogue.
He also met with German lawmaker Niels Annen, accompanied by German Ambassador to Lebanon, Martin Huth. Talks reportedly touched on the current situation in Lebanon and the broader Arab region.
Afterwards, Berri received a British military delegation headed by the UK Defense Senior Advisor for the Middle East, Lieutenant-General John Lorimer, accompanied by British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hugo Shorter
