Barzani meets Commander of US central Command

 Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani met with Commander of the US Central Command Joseph Votel in Erbil to discuss the ongoing battle to liberate Mosul from the ISIS. 
The Kurdistan Region’s Presidency (KRP) said in a statement that Barzani met a US delegation headed by General Joseph Votel along with US ambassador to Iraq Stuart Jones and a number of US military personnel. 
Both sides discussed the operations against ISIS militants and operations to liberate the city of Mosul, and stressed the need to continue coordination to achieve victory in the war against the ISIS, according to the statement. 
They also discussed the political situation in Iraq and agreed that a speedy solution to the crisis is needed to avoid any negative effect on the fight against ISIS. 
General Joseph Votal briefed according to the statement, the head of the Kurdistan region on victories recent variables and field developments on the battlefronts in Syria and Iraq, and plans for progress in fighting on all fronts and the liberation of Mosul, hoping to strengthen coordination and partnership between the two sides.
