Ashrawy meets EU peace envoy
EU Middle East peace envoy Fernando Gentilini

Palestine Liberation Organization executive panel member Hanan Ashrawy met on Wednesday with EU Middle East peace envoy Fernando Gentilini.
They discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the Middle East.
How to activate the role of the EU in addressing the Palestinian cause was also mulled.
Ashrawy underlined the importance of having a new approach by the EU in coordination with the international community in ending the Israeli occupation.
Israeli violations against the Palestinians and international law figured high during the meeting.
"These practices require clear-cut stance from the EU to hold Israel accountable," she said.
