Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday met in Yarze with the Director of Security and Defense Cooperation in France, Didier Brousse, accompanied by the French military attaché.
Discussions reportedly focused on bilateral relations, as well as on cooperation projects during this period.
General Aoun then received Finnish Armed Forces Deputy Chief of Staff, Eero Pyotsia, accompanied by Finnish Ambassador to Lebanon, Matti Lassila, and military attache, Colonel Jurki Litmanen.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, as well as the role of the Finnish contingent operating under UNIFIL in southern Lebanon
