Arab League chief meets Syrian main opposition group leader
Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Araby

Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby met on Thursday with head of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces Haitham al Maleh.
The meeting took up means to support the Syrian refugees in Lebanon, al Maleh told reporters following the meeting.
The talks covered ways to protect officers who defected the Syrian army, he added.
Also, the Arab League chief made a promise to help Syrians get identity cards and passports in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan, he said.
