Abul-Gheit, Uruguayan president discuss regional conditions

Uruguayan President Tabaré Vázquez had a meeting with Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul-Gheit on the latest developments in the region.
The meeting took up ongoing efforts exerted by the league vis-a-vis the Palestinian cause as well as the crises in Syria, Libya and Yemen.
They also reviewed counter-terrorism efforts and joint cooperation between Arab and Latin American countries.
The Uruguayan president's visit to the AL premises came within the framework of his current visit to Egypt.
During his stay, Vázquez had talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and senior officials
