Abbas greets Sisi on October War anniversary

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday sent a cable of greetings to Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the 41st anniversary of the October War victory.
"On behalf of the state of Palestine ... it is our pleasure to extend heartfelt greetings on the occasion of the October War victory," Abbas said.
He expressed appreciation for Sisi's support for the Palestinians in their struggle to end the Israeli occupation and establish an independent state with Al Quds as its capital.
