UAE, Poland advancing cultural cooperation

UAE Ambassador to Poland, Dr. Youssef Issa Hassan Al Sabri, discussed ways of boosting cultural ties with the European country during the current year which marks the centennial birth anniversary of late Sheikh Zayed. This came during a meeting he had with Lukasz Lutostanski, Director of the Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.

The ambassador hailed the growing relations between the two friendly countries, underlining the UAE's determination to advance cooperation to a higher level through organising various cultural activities.

He singled out the cultural events being organised by the embassy over the year, including the Emirati Film Review in a number of Polish cities, such as Warsaw, and Krakow, as well as Sheikh Zayed Photo Exhibition in the Polish capital.

The ambassador hailed the distinguished Polish presence as a Guest of Honor of Abu Dhabi Book Fair, during which the European country was represented by a high-profile delegation led by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Piotr Tadeusz Gli?ski.

The Polish official commended the high level of cooperation between the two sides and his country's keenness to push forward channels of cooperation with the UAE.
