Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS)

The 18th edition of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), is entering its final week with exciting events for residents and visitors from around the world.

DSS 2015, which began on July 23, has been offering several unique winning and shopping experiences to families and tourists of all ages.

The final week of DSS, from August 30 until September 5, promises to sustain the same level of excitement and thrill among visitors, with a number of family-friendly attractions in store.

Families can choose from a number of venues to make the most of it. Shoppers can look forward to winning great prizes as part of the several promotions running until the end of the season. Up for grabs are superb deals on a wide variety of merchandise.

Attractions during the final week include Madagascar Live! (today at Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre (3pm & 7.30pm); Modhesh World (till today at Dubai World Trade Centre Hall 1-8); Circus Fiesta ( today, at Mercato); Stories of SpongeBob - Live on Stage (till September 2, Dubai Marina Mall); Sonic the Hedgehog, Connecting Families (August 30 to September 5, Ibn Battuta Mall); DSS Starz - Zendaya (August 31 at Mall of the Emirates); Swan Lake Acrobatic Ballet (September 3 -5, Sheikh Rashid Hall, DWTC); Pixels in the City (till September 5, City Walk); and Blocks at Boxpark (till September 5 at Boxpark).
