Khaled el Anani
Cairo - MENA

The political leadership is following up the file of developing the antiquities sector, affirmed newly-picked Antiquities Minister Khaled el Anani.

There are specific assignments to complete a number of important projects, including development of Haram district and civilization museum, he added in first press statements for him at the ministry's premises on Wednesday.

Radar scan at King Tutankhamun's tomb in Luxor will be resumed, he said, affirming that the ministry supports any work that lure tourism to Egypt.
