Sheikha Hessa award for voluntary work committee convenes

Member of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa chaired the committee meeting of Shaikha Hessa bint Salman Al Khalifa Award for Youth Voluntary Work which convened at SCW headquarters.
Shaikha Hessa hailed the outcome of the first edition of the award which was distributed last January by SCW Chairperson Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa. She also praised the positive participation of Bahraini youngsters in it, reviewing ways of further developing and promoting the second edition of the award.
It is to note that the award was created as per Royal Order 15 for 2011 to commemorate the role of late Shaikha Hessa bint Salman Al Khalifa in supporting charity, voluntary and social work.
