Shaikh Khalid praises Islamic renaissance in Chechnya

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, and Honorary President of BMMAF, performed Friday prayers with the President of the Chechen Republic HE Ramzan Akhmadovich Kadyrov in Hamza bin Abdulmutallab Mosque.
This came during HH Shaikh Khalid’s visit to the Chechen Republic at the invitation of HE President Kadyrov to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the Islamic renaissance in the Chechen Republic which began in the era of the previous president Akhmad Kadyrov and has continued in the era of HE President Ramazan, stating that it has contributed to strengthening the national identity of the Chechen Republic, which is based on the support of Islamic identity through the construction of mosques and the support of Islamic education, which is equivalent to the urban renaissance.
