Royal OperaROHM House Muscat announces casting call for 'Aida'

If you are an aspiring actor, this could be your chance: The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) is on the lookout for 36 men, 2 children and 6 women for its production of "Aida", due to be performed between the 14th and 17th of September, 2017.

Female applicants should be between the age of 18 and 35, with a height range of 155cm-170cm, and their basic body size should be slim. The age range for male applicants is between 18 and 40. One boy and one girl between the ages of 6-10 are also required for casting. 

Applicants must be available for all scheduled costume fittings, rehearsals and performances.

Those who wish to apply must send ROHM one full length photograph of themselves, one headshot photograph plus a short cell-phone video introducing themselves to extras@rohmuscat.org.om with a covering e-mail giving details such as name, age, height, clothing size, shoe size and contact telephone number, previous acting experience and why they would like to be involved.

Successful applicants will be informed by e-mail if they have been selected and/or if an audition will be required. The adult roles are open to Omanis only.

Closing date for applications is Saturday, 19th August.
