OIC's secretary general condemns destruction of antiquities

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Iyad bin Amin Madani has condemned in strongest words "Daesh's" destruction of Mosul antiquities.
Madani has expressed support for the call of the Director General of UNESCO for the UN Security Council to hold a special session to take the necessary measures to stop this cultural tragedy against humanitarian history.
He said Daesh crime is not only against the history of Iraq but also the entire humanity, the Saudi official press agency SPA reported.
