OIC executive committee to convene Sunday in Jeddah over terror

The executive committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold a meeting at the level of foreign ministers on Sunday over terrorism and extremism.
The meeting comes in response to a call by OIC Secretary General Iyad al Madani to tackle the terrorist attacks that hit the region during the past period.
The get-together, which will be chaired by Saudi Arabia, will come up with a number of mechanisms and strategies that help fight terrorism and extremist thoughts.
