Katara director, Palestinian ambassador discuss cultural cooperation

Katara Director General Dr. Khalid Al Sulaiti discussed with Palestinian Ambassador to Qatar HE Munir Ghannam prospects of joint cultural cooperation between Katara and the Palestinian Embassy in Doha and ways of enhancing and strengthening bonds of brotherhood between the two fraternal peoples and hosting Palestinian cultural events during the coming period.
Dr. Al Sulaiti expressed his delight for Katara to be a destination of unprecedented Arab , local and international festival cultural events , a beacon for thought and knowledge, while saying it became a forum for networking with various cultures in the world, with the aim of deepening mutual understanding among all peoples.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ambassador praised the importance of Katara' s cultural events, which had become a vital outlet for culture , tourism and a destination for inside and outside visitors .
He also lauded Qatar's support for the Palestinian issue, stressing the depth of brotherly relations between two brotherly peoples.
On the occasion, Katara Director handed over a trophy to the Palestinian Ambassador.
