ISESCO criticises destroying Sunni mosque in Tehran

Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural (ISESCO) Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri has slammed Iranian authorities for destroying a Sunni mosque in Tehran on Wednesday.
In a statement on Friday, Altwaijri said that the action runs contrary to strategic goals put by ISESCO to bridge the gap between Islamic doctrines.
On Wednesday, the Iranian authorities destroyed the Sunni ‘Pounak’ prayer hall and further searched the house of the mosque’s Sunni imam Abdullah Moussa-Zadeh.
