Istanbul - Anadolu

The photo exhibition "Humanitarian Tragedy in Syria", which was jointly prepared by Turkish Parliament and Anadolu Agency, was opened on Saturday at Lutfi Kirdar Congress & Exhibition Hall in Istanbul. Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Anadolu Agency Director General Kemal Ozturk inaugurated the exhibition. The exhibition displays the tragedy in Syria by photos to guests from 56 countries who are currently visiting Istanbul to attend a meeting of Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The exhibitions covers 75 photos which were selected among 30,000 photos taken by AA photo journalists and correspondents in Syria as well as along Turkey-Syria border between 2011 and 2013. The exhibition will end on July 3, and then it will be displayed in capital Ankara.
