Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam
Cairo - MENA

Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam condemned a terrorist attack at a prominent museum in Tunisia's capital on Wednesday that has claimed the lives of innocent people, including foreign tourists.
In a statement Wednesday, Allam said that victims lost their lives as a result of such criminal acts.
He further asked about the reason behind the non-response of the international community toward the initiative launched by Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to confront terrorism through cooperation with world countries.
He, meanwhile, urged the Tunisian people to cooperate with security bodies to curb terrorism and extremism.
Attackers opened fire today at a major museum in Tunisia's capital, gunning down at least 21 tourists as dozens more sprinted to safety.
The attack on the famed National Bardo Museum in Tunis was the first on a tourist site in years in Tunisia.
