The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) yesterday joined other authorities in the Kingdom to organise a cermeony for its staff at the committee premises in Seef.

Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar led the committee staff to the ceremony, which marks the nation’s 46th national day and The 18TH anniversary of His Majesty the King accession to the throne.

Askar expressed pride for such occasion and extended congratulation to Bahrain leadership and people on the occasion, stressing keenness of BOC to organise functions to celebrate the national occasions.

He asserted the willingness of the committee, headed by Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to continue its strategy to further progress and achieve new success on the regional and international levels.

Askar concluded his speech by congratulating the BOC staff on this occasion and wished them progress. The gathering also included a cake cutting ceremony, followed by a luncheon for all the committee staff and guests.
