Bahraini culture minister receives Tamkeen board chairman

Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received here on Thursday a delegation from the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), led by the Political and Economic Adviser at HRH the Crown Prince's Court, and Tamkeen's Board Chairman and Acting CEO Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The meeting focused on the Culture Ministry's activities as part of its celebrations of Manama as Capital of Capital of Asian Tourism in 2014.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa praised the Ministry's efforts to develop the tourism sector and promote the kingdom regionally and at the international level.
Shaikha Mai affirmed the continuity of the Culture Ministry's cooperation with official and private sides for the sake of achieving the best results in the tourism sector.
She also expressed the Ministry of Culture's readiness to enhance its cooperation with Tamkeen to achieve the common goal of promoting Bahrain, in light of the launch of the "Bahrain Is Your Destination" campaign months ago, in collaboration with a number of 4-star and 5-star hotels, and the promotional campaign on MBC and Al-Arabiya TV channels.
