Commemorative stamps
Manama - BNA

Bahrain Post, an affiliate of the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, has issued a commemorative postcard to mark anniversary of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development(NIAD) which builds on a rich legacy dating back to the 1950s.
Former ruler of Bahrain late Shaikh Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa opened the first agricultural expo in 1954, signaling the start of landmark modern agrarian and industrial projects. Bahrain Post has also issued a collection of fifteen commemorative stamps bearing the portraits of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and late Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa marking the golden jubilee of Bahrain Garden Club (1965-2015).
