Bahrain culture minister receives Diyar al-Muharraq CEO

Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received here today the CEO of the Diyar Al-Muharraq Company Dr. Maher Al-Shaer.
They discussed enhancing cooperation by using the available potentials to bring about joint cultural and tourism achievements and boost the tourism sector in the country.
Shaikha Mai highlighted the key role played by the private sector in encouraging tourism and creating suitable infrastructure, noting that boosting tourism in the kingdom is the shared responsibility of government sides and private investors.
In this context, she lauded the Diyar Al-Muharraq Project, being a modern urban project that provides a unique housing and tourism experience.
Dr. Maher Al-Shaer praised the growing urban investment in the region.
He lauded the Culture Ministry’s cultural investments and development projects that earned the kingdom landmark achievements at the Arab and international arenas.
