Azhar, communications ministry sign cooperation protocol

Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb and Communications Minister Khaled Negm on Monday signed amendments to a cooperation protocol on the electronic documentation of "Al Azhar's memory".
The initial protocol was inked between the two sides in 2011.
The project highlights the role of Al Azhar in spreading moderation, facing the extremist thoughts and protecting our Islamic identity," el Tayyeb said.
