Al-Madinah named capital of Islamic tourism

Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage, has patronized Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah as capital of Islamic tourism inaugural celebration at King Fahd Central Park in the presence of Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarrah Region.
Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz drew attention to the high status of the holy city in the hearts of Muslims, calling on them to visit the city's historical sites and mosques, led by the prophet's mosque, and including Islam's first mosque of Guba, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
He also highlighted the current touristic projects under construction to attract more religious tourists, citing the Islamic military museum and other projects under the direct instructions of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
