Qatar petroleum participates in Geosciences expo

Qatar Petroleum (QP) is taking part in the 11th Middle East Geosciences Conference and Exhibition (GEO 2014), currently in progress at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Manama, Bahrain.HE the Minister of Finance and Minister in Charge of Oil and Gas Affairs Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa inaugurated the conference earlier today, QP said Monday in a media statement .HE Shaikh Ahmed visited the QP stand, where he was received by members of the QP delegation. They briefed him the corporation’s ongoing operations during his visit.QP along with its subsidiary Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) is a major exhibitor at GEO 2014, and the QP stand has attracted a large number of delegates and visitors, many of whom have inquired about the corporation’s operations and its new projects.The three-day event is gives QP the opportunity to raise awareness on its activities and investments in the oil and gas industry.Now in its 11th edition GEO 2014 is organized byArabianExhibitionManagement Company and the theme of the event this year is ‘Taking Geoscience Beyond the Conventional’.GEO 2014 has attracted the participation of many industry professionals and more than 100 companies from all over the world, QP said.The conference concludes March 12.
