seoul - Yonhap

State-run Korea Gas Corp. (KOGAS) said Tuesday that it will receive an additional 500,000 barrels of crude oil from an Iraqi oil field this week in return for its investment in the project. KOGAS said its U.S. partner Occidental Petroleum Corp. will also get 500,000 barrels of crude from the Zubair oil field in southern Iraq. KOGAS said it will resale the crude in the international market after the oil is delivered on Thursday.
