Desalting unit of lab sefid oilfield coming online this year

Desalting unit of Lab Sefid oil field with processing capacity of 30 thousand barrels per day will come online before the end of the current Iranian calendar year to March 21 2014. Leveling the surface of the project which is located in a mountainous region in north of Khusestan province took 13 months. The unit includes two heaters, pressure vessels for liquid hydrocarbon, natural gas, fuel and water, 35 processing and non-processing pumps, 9. 500 meters of non-metallic pipe, a furnace for indirect pre-heating as well as ancillary facilities. The project is being implemented by Masjed Soleiman Oil and Gas Company a subsidiaries of National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) in a 27 thousand km area. NISOC comprises 9 companies including 5 exploitation and 4 technical and expertise oil and gas companies and covers oil and gas fields in Kohkiloyeh and Bovair Ahamad, Fars and Bushehr provinces in an area above 400 thousand square kilometers. The company also accounts for respectively 80 percent and 16 percent of the country’s oil and gas production.
