Turkey's Central Bank opened the exhibition of "Republic period contemporary painting and original edition art" in Austrian capital Vienna on Monday. Head of Central Bank, Erdem Basci delivered a speech at the opening of the exhibition in Kunstlerhaus art exhibition building and said, the CB was paying high attention to art and culture events with the thought to support Turkish art and encourage artists since its establishment. He noted, there were about 800 pieces in CB's collection and expressed that since 2003 they held exhibitions in Tokyo, Washington, Frankfurt, Brussels, Madris, Sarajevo, Sofia and  Maastrich. The exhibition includes contemporary paintings from the Art Collection of the Central Bank of Turkey at the Vienna Kunstlerhaus art hall.
