Doha - QNA

Qatar Development Bank (QDB) will showcase 10 Qatari companies through its exports promotion wing Tasdeer at the International Plastics (NPE2015) exhibition in Orlando, Florida, from March 23 to 27, the bank announced Saturday.
More than 2,000 companies and suppliers from 100 countries will attend the world's largest plastics trade show and conference.
The event focuses on innovative applications in plastics market such as packaging, automotive, appliances, consumer products, medical devices and construction.
QDB is taking part in this expo for the second consecutive year.
QDB CEO Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa said, "QDB is a devoted advocate for Qatar’s private sector. Our participation in this event underscores our commitment to Made in Qatar goods and our many years of successful trade promotion across the globe." Tasdeer Executive Director Hassan Khalifa Al Mansouri said, "Our participation for the second consecutive time at NPE is of our strategic approach to help Qatari companies reach new markets." Getting competitive Qatar goods and services out there in the marketplace at international exhibitions like NPE is a top priority for Tasdeer and for QDB, he said.
QDB backs such trade missions after strategic market analysis. It considers company size, growth, consumption requirements and specifications to ensure companies get the most out of their participation, he added.
Tasdeer offers financial solutions, export insurance, risk protection and advisory services for exporters. It is designed to help Qatari exporters manage risk, strengthen their ability to export, and drive business development, QDB said.
