Abu Dhabi - WAM
The National Bank of Abu Dhabi, NBAD, is taking part in Tawdheef Career Fair at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 3rd to 5th February, as part of its Emiratisation drive to attract and develop the skills of U.A.E. nationals. "Emiratisation is a top priority in the U.A.E.", said Ehab Hassan, Senior Managing Director and Group Chief Human Resources Officer at NBAD. "Tawdheef offers exclusive access to a pool of talented U.A.E. nationals from different fields with skills most sought after by employers, and our participation in this career fair is in line with government efforts to strengthen the National workforce. "This year, we plan to recruit over 100 U.A.E. nationals," he added. During the career fair, NBAD will offer onsite interviews to candidates. It will also bring representatives from different divisions to give insight into division and career opportunities. "NBAD offers numerous training and career opportunities for fresh graduates and experienced professionals who are interested in building a successful career at the U.A.E.'s leading financial institute," said Amani Al Khaledi, the Head of Emiratisation at NBAD. "Through Tawdheef, we will promote these opportunities as well as Emiratisation programmes which are aimed to hire, develop and retain high potentials." NBAD has launched several initiatives to develop and maximise the potentials of U.A.E. nationals in different stages. For instance, under the AFAQ Management trainee Programme, NBAD sponsors a Master's degree in Finance by recruiting fresh university graduates who exhibit great motivation and the potential to grow into future leaders.
