CBOS affirms policy of buying golds by CBOS at profitable prices
The Governor of Central Bank of Sudan(CBOS), Hazim Abdul-Gadir.

The Governor of Central Bank of Sudan(CBOS), Hazim Abdul-Gadir said the Central Bank is continuing buying all products of gold and with profitable prices to encourage miners.
Referring to reasons that made the CBOS goes on its policy of buying and selling golds, Hazim mentioned the prices provided by the Bank are the best prices providing incentive to producers to sell their products and combating smuggling of gold to outside the country.
He added CBOS adopted current policy after reviewing experiences of other countries in this connection such South Africa and Ghana .
The CBOS Governor further added that efforts would continue via apolcies and direct monitoring to curb smuggling of golds operations.
