Washington - UPI

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a voluntary recall of LED flashlight sets sold at Target stores due to a fire hazard. About 55,000 6-piece LED Flashlight Sets were imported from China and sold exclusively by Target stores of Minneapolis from October 2010 through December 2011 for about $10 per set. The flashlights can heat up enough to pose a fire hazard. The recall involves 6-piece LED Flashlight Sets with flashlights made of silver plastic with black rubber around the handle and light base. The flashlight sets have UPC code 490021010049 printed on the back of the package. The sets include two small, two medium-sized and two larger flashlights ranging from three inches to 7 1/2 inches long. Consumers were advised to stop using the flashlights and return them to any Target store for a full refund. Consumers can call 800-440-0680 for information.
