Jordan, US discuss IT cooperation

Minister of Information and Communications Technology (MoICT) Azzam Sleit and US ambassador to Jordan Alice Wells Saturday discussed ways to boost cooperation between the two countries.
Sleit briefed the envoy about the programs being carried out by the ministry in the fields of e-services and qualifying and training IT graduates. The minister praised the USAID support for the IT programs in the Kingdom and called for more support to serve the programs.
Ambassador Wells highlighted Jordan - US relations and valued the improvement of the communications and IT sector.
On behalf of the US government, Wells also thanked the leadership and government of Jordan for their key role in dealing with regional issues.
