First scientific forum for youth starts in Doha tomorrow

The first scientific forum for youth is to kick off in Doha tomorrow, Sunday under the patronage of HE Minister of Culture , Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari .The event will be organized by the youth activities department at the ministry in cooperation with qatar scientific club under the slogan,” Innovations of Our Children in Service of Our Country”.The three-day forum to be held at ‘Regency Hall’ , nearby Al Ahli Sports Club , aims at discovering the qatari talented youths, where more than 100 Qatari inventions will be put for discussion at the forum .These inventions cover various titles varying between sciences, computers and scientific researches.For his part, Abdulrahman Al Hajri, the Director of Youth Activities at the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage said it will be announced during the forum for the first time the publicity or inception of a new office to provide patent for the Qatari youth .The office will record 50 Qatari projects annually with a view to maintaining the innovative inventions of these young people.
