Egypt, China agree to draft memo on scientific cooperation

Egypt and China agreed to draft a memo for technological cooperation to establish scientific cities in Egypt.
Speaking to MENA correspondent here, Chairman of Egypt's National Research Center Ashraf Shaalan, who is currently leading a center delegation on a visit of China, said the delegation had so far toured five official research agencies and two technology valleys since its visit started on May 2.
The visit is part of the Scientific Research Ministry's efforts to reform the research system in Egypt and cooperate with Chinese research bodies to establish science valleys in Egypt, Shaalan said.
