Tipasa - APS

An initial budget of DZD400 million has been released by the government for training in careers in the fields of information and communications, announced Tuesday in Tipaza (70-km west of Algiers) Communication Minister Nacer Mehal. "Public authority will use all means at its disposal for training," he said on the sidelines of the inauguration of the National Audiovisual Training Centre in Tipaza, adding in this regard that "human resources in the sector of press should adapt to the new information technologies." The Centre, the first of its kind in the country, will become a regional centre (Africa and Arab world), said Mehal. The Ministry of Communication called for experts from the UNESCO and journalism training institutes of France and Jordan to finalize the national training programme, as well as at Tipaza training centre, the minister added.
