China hosts international defense electronics fair

The ninth China International Defense Electronics Exhibition opened on Thursday in Beijing. Sponsored by Chinese military authorities, the three-day show is organized by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and China Electronics Corporation. Industry players from 13 countries and regions including the United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Germany showcase their latest technological innovations in electronics, weapons, aeronautics and astronautics. The exhibition includes an emergency response technology and equipment fair. Launched in 1998, the exhibition is held once every two years.
