70 national, foreign exhibitors at Siftech 2014 in Oran

The 15th edition of the International Exhibition of Future Technology "Siftech 2014" opened Monday at the Mohamed-BenAhmed Convention Centre of Oran (432-km west of Algiers, in presence of local authorities. Seventy national and foreign exhibitors are participating in this edition, which is organized by "Astein Expo" under the patronage of the Ministry of Industrial Development and Investment Promotion. Siftech 2014, held under the theme "3G and mobile applications, opens urgent workshops on the use of these services in health, tourism, purchasing and payment, said the organizers. This exhibition, which brings together representatives of firms specializing in computing, electronics, information technologies and telecommunications, "is an opportunity for the professionals to discover new product and services as innovative projects," they added. The main objective of Siftech is to encourage initiatives of young Algerians in mobile technologies, said the organizers, adding that a contest for best mobile application has been launched since nearly two months. The top three winners will receive their prizes during this edition.
