US and China to fight cyber threat

The US and Chinese defense ministers say they have agreed to work together on cyber issues to avoid misunderstandings that could lead to future crises. US defense secretary Leon Panetta says that since China and the United States both have advanced cyber capabilities, it is important to develop better cooperation. General Liang Guanglie, China's minister of national defense, said he and Panetta had talked about ways to strengthen cyber security, but were leaving the details to experts. The two leaders met Monday at the Pentagon before addressing the reporters.
