Seoul - Yonhap

South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co. saw its market share in global sales of computer memory chips decline during the first quarter but it still kept the world's leading position in the area, a report showed Sunday. Samsung Electronics sold $3.26 billion worth of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) chips during the January-March period, making up 39.3 percent of global sales, down 2 percentage points from three months earlier, according to the report by industry research firm iSuppli.
