China releases 2014 scientific report

The report also highlights issues that need attention in the near future, and suggests efforts in controlling heavy metal pollution in soil and the establishment of a national emergency medicine network. The "2014 report on high-tech development" introduces hot areas of scientific study, such as the use of 3D printing and artificial organs research. The "2014 strategic report on China's sustainable growth" calls for an overall top-level design to remove structural barriers in industry upgrades and promote energy conservation and emission reductions.
