Turkey's First Lady visits Abu Dhabi

Hayrunnisa Gul, wife of Turkey's President, visited today the General Women's Union (GWU) to get insight into achievements made by UAE women in various domains. Accompanied by Dr. Maitha Al Shamsi, Minister of State and Advisor to H.H. Sheikha Fatima bin Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union and of the Family Development Foundation, Turkey's First Lady was welcomed by GWU Director Noura Al Suwaidi who took her on a tour of various sections of the GWU and showed her handicrafts made by UAE families. At the heritage tent, the wife of Turkish president treated to UAE hospitality traditions. She commended Sheikha Fatima's support for empowerment of UAE women.
