State funeral for Belgian queen Fabiola to be held Friday

Belgium will hold a state funeral Friday for dowager queen Fabiola, the aunt of the country's current monarch, authorities said, dpa reported.
The government also decreed a period of national mourning starting Saturday and lasting through the day of the funeral, local media reported.
The frail 86-year-old passed away Friday evening. She was the widow of King Baudouin, who died in 1993.
