Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak
Abu Dhabi - WAM

H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, has congratulated the partners of the FDF for their teamwork spirit.
In a message to the FDF strategic partners, media and suppliers, conveyed by Ali Salem Al Ka'abi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the FDF, during a ceremony held yesterday, Sheikha Fatima said that the partners deserve the honour on their several achievements in the community of Emirate of Abu Dhabi. She added that those achievements would not have been attained without their partnership with the Foundation.
"This ceremony embodies the spirit of joint work. We credit you for the institutional performance and fruitful partnership, which is in the interest of individuals and families alike," she said.
The event was attended by Mariam Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Director-General of the FDF, Mohammed Mohammed Fadil Al Hamili, Secretary General of The Zayed Higher Foundation for Humanitarian Care, Special Needs people, and Minors Affairs, Abdullah Saeed Al Darmeki, CEO of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, a number of strategic partners, media, suppliers, representatives of government institutions and civil society.
Al Ka'abi said that the team spirit manifested in the partnership between the FDF and the partners demonstrated the highest forms and themes of diligence and creativity, to develop the society in line with the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the directives of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
He added that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi provides support to governmental and private institutions, and civil society organisations, to participate in the community-building process and upgrade social services.
Al Ka'abi said, "We in the FDF strive tirelessly to translate the vision of the FDF regarding sustainable social development, thanks to the efforts and initiatives of Sheikha Fatima, and the follow up of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council."
