Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim
Manama - BNA

Supreme Council for Women (SCW) has extended sincere gratitude to the Cabinet led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for the support provided for the SCW chaired by Wife of HM the King, HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
SCW commended all efforts and steps taken by Bahrain's government and executive institutions in the integration of the national strategy for the advancement of the Bahraini women in the government work program. In addition to cooperation of all state's agencies and institutions at the level of achieving principles of equal opportunities and activating the national model for the integration of the women's needs in the national development programs.
SCW highlighted supporting Bahraini women to keep up with countries where women's participation is an essential factor in human development, and in line with the state's policies and plans to meet HM the King's aspirations toward securing a prosperous future for Bahrain and its people.
SCW noted that Bahrain's Constitution stipulates ensuring coordination between women's duties towards their families and works in the community, as well as equality with men in all fields, without prejudice to Islamic law.
The Cabinet, marking the 13th anniversary of the SCW establishment, hailed the constructive role played by SCW in women's empowerment, and enhancing women's participation in the march of national action and promoting their presence in political, cultural and social fields.
