The delegation of outstanding Kuwaiti female students concluded on Saturday their trip to Morocco organized by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) in collaboration with Ministry of Education.
Speaking to KUNA, students Nadia Al-Ajami and Zainab Al-Abasi said that the journey was a golden chance to be acquainted with Kuwait's support for other countries.
"We gained a lot of valuable information and learned how to depend on ourselves and deal with the others," they said.
Wadha Al-Hajraf and Mariam Al-Shatti expressed their pride of their homeland's achievements through development projects they visited in Morocco.
Students thanked the KFAED and Ministry of Education for huge efforts and organization of this trip from which all of them benefited.
The delegation is set to leave here later in the day after spending seven days and visiting many historical places in Casablanca, Marrakesh and Rabat, as well as the project of Safi Port funded by the KFAED.
On Friday night, they met Third Secretary of Kuwaiti Embassy in Rabat Ibrahim Mubarak Al-Arfaj, who emphasized that the KFAED's projects serve the country's foreign policy and strengthen relations with other countries.
In a statement to KUNA, Al-Arfaj hailed the KFAED-funded projects in Morocco and trips organized for students, stressing Kuwait is a leading country in supporting needy countries.
Due to Kuwaiti leading role in humanitarian action, His Highness the Amir Sheikg Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was honored by the United Nations last September as a humanitarian leader and Kuwait as a humanitarian center," Al-Arfaj said.
