Jameela Al Qasimi appointed as Chairperson of the Board of Directors

Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director-General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, was appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Para-Taekwondo, and the membership of the International Taekwondo Council by the World Taekwondo Federation.
Sheikha Jameela has been a leading figure in supporting sporting activities for persons with disabilities, starting with the adoption of Sharjah City of Humanitarian Services of the Trust Club for the Disabled in May 1987 and encouraging students to practice the sports hobbies.
On this occasion, Sheikha Jameela thanked H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuous support of sporting activities for persons with disabilities.
