A Syrian mother whose son was beheaded by the terrorist
Tehran - FNA

A Syrian mother whose son was beheaded by the terrorist Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists a few months ago wrote a letter to Diane Foley, the mother of slain US reporter James Foley who was killed by the same terrorists allegedly a few days ago.
"Dear Diane! My son lost his life for defending his beliefs and country. We as Syrian mothers have been witnessing the beheading of our sons by the swords which have been given to the ISIL terrorists by the US statesmen for several years now," the Syrian mother wrote in her letter.
"Dear Diane! We shouted a lot but no one heard our voice and no one helped us; maybe the killing of your dear son and your heart-rending and heartfelt cries right next to the White House could awaken the conscience of the human kind and your statesmen from negligence," she added.
The Syrian mother said that the weapons which are now in the hands of the ISIL terrorists have been purchased from the Israeli arms manufacturing factories by the petrodollars of Saudi Arabia.
She invited Diane to visit Syria and witness the cries of the bereaved mothers who are bitterly suffering their children's death by the US-led terrorists.
Last week, the ISIL terrorists claimed they have beheaded Foley, who had gone missing in Syria nearly two years ago, in reprisal for ongoing US airstrikes against their forces in Iraq.
The terrorist group posted a gruesome video on social media last Tuesday titled "A Message to America," allegedly showing the decapitation of James Foley, 40, who was abducted by unknown gunmen on November 22, 2012. He had been reporting in the Middle East for five years.
The video shows a person, who appears to be Foley, dressed in an orange jumpsuit kneeling in the desert, while a masked man stands beside him.
"I call on my friends, family and loved ones to rise up against my real killers, the US government, for what will happen to me is only a result of their complacency and criminality," the kneeling man said.
"This is James Wright Foley, an American citizen, of your country. As a government, you have been at the forefront of the aggression towards the Islamic State," the masked man said with a British accent, using the name that the ISIL terror group took on after announcing a so-called caliphate in the swathes they have overrun in Iraq and Syria.
"Today your military air force is attacking us daily in Iraq. Your strikes have caused casualties amongst Muslims," he added.
Seconds later, the masked executioner uses a knife to decapitate the man.
At the end of the disturbing video, words on the side of the screen said "Steven Joel Sotloff" as another hostage in an orange outfit is shown on screen. The US journalist went missing in northern Syria last July.
"The life of this American citizen, (US President Barack) Obama, depends on your next decision," the masked man in the footage said.
Yet, Syrian President Bashar Assad’s official spokeswoman, Bouthaina Shaaban, said on Tuesday that James Foley may have been murdered by the ISIL terrorists a year ago.
"James Foley was first arrested by the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and he was sold to ISIL. You can check with the UN…James Foley was killed a year ago, not now, they only released the pictures now, but he was killed a year ago. We have definite information, the UN has the information," Shaaban said as cited by The Daily Mail.
