Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received Bahrain Young Ladies Association board members, led by chairperson Ibtissam Khamis. The delegation thanked the minister for patronizing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Family Guidance Forum, which was organized recently by the Bahrain Young Ladies Association. They outlined the association’s objectives and plans to serve women, enhance their cultural, education and social status and encourage them to participate positively in all development sectors.
The delegation hailed the empowerment policies adopted by the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and SCW President.
The minister reiterated support to projects and plans lined-up by the Bahrain Young Ladies Association as part of efforts to support women’s empowerment and integration into the national development programmes.
